K V Sambasiva Raju, a highly accomplished Project Management and Industrial Real Estate professional with over 28 years of experience, having delivered more than 30 million square feet of industrial, logistics, warehousing, and commercial facilities across India and South Asia. He is recognized for his in-depth technical expertise in civil engineering, operations management, and project execution throughout their entire lifecycle. His professional approach integrates technical excellence with sustainability-first thinking to produce future-ready infrastructure assets.

Earlier as Director & Head of Projects at Panattoni India, one of the world’s leading industrial real estate developers, Sambasiva Raju played a founding role in building national operations and led the launch of Panattoni’s first project in Jhajjar (NCR).

Prior to his time at Panattoni, Sambasiva Raju was General Manager – Projects at Embassy Industrial Parks, where he was a founding team member. At Embassy, he played a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art industrial and logistics parks in major hubs such as Pune, NCR, Hyderabad, and Hosur. His responsibilities spanned technical due diligence, budgeting, master planning, engineering, procurement, execution, leasing support, and facility management culminating in the delivery of over 7 million square feet of Grade-A assets and for further development potential of around 5 million square feet.

As an independent advisor, Sambasiva Raju has guided strategic consulting engagements for leading developers including Welspun One, Avigna, Favorich, CCI Logistics, and MarkSquare (CBD commercial project). His support ranges from concept development, budgeting, and master planning to architectural and engineering services, procurement, project execution, feasibility studies, and sustainability implementation. He has also contributed to the knowledge transfer process for establishing a Records Management Facility for Blackbox in Kathmandu.

Earlier in his career, Sambasiva spent nearly two decades at Semac Consultants, where he delivered over 18 million square feet of industrial projects for global and Indian clients across various sectors, including FMCG, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace. He provided end-to-end services from the conceptual stage through to design, costing, procurement, construction, and handover management. His client portfolio includes ITC, Perkins, Autoliv, Nestlé, Festo, Fowler Group, Tanishq, Johncrane, Banner Pharmacaps, TVS and JSSL, etc.

Academically, Sambasiva Raju holds a B. Tech in Civil Engineering, an MBA in Operations Management, a Senior Management Programme certification from IIM Calcutta, and a PG Diploma in Planning & Project Management. He is also certified in Sustainability and Climate Risk (GARP) and Sustainability Investing (CFA Institute).
